- Quote information you submit: ZIP code, vehicle year, make, model, ownership and use, name, date of birth, gender, marital status, prior insurance, driving record, self-reported credit tier, homeownership, desired coverage, email and phone.
- Contact records: confirmation messages we send you and notes an agent adds about your quote or call.
- Technical data: basic device and usage information needed to operate and secure the site.
We do not ask for a Social Security number or payment details to show you an estimate. If a carrier requires them at the application stage, they are collected by that carrier or by a licensed agent through a secure process.
2. How we use it
- To calculate your estimated premium and match you to carriers.
- To have a licensed agent follow up about your quote.
- To send your confirmation and reference number.
- To detect fraud, meet insurance recordkeeping obligations and improve the service.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: the insurance carriers and licensed agents needed to quote or issue your policy; service providers who host and secure our systems or deliver our email, under contract; and authorities when required by law.
4. Marketing and calls
When you submit a quote you consent to contact about it, including calls and texts, at the number you provide. You can opt out at any time by telling the agent, replying STOP to a text, or calling (877) 200-5743. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about a policy you already hold.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site function and for basic analytics about how pages perform, including visits that arrive from advertising. You can block cookies in your browser; parts of the quote engine may then not work.
6. How long we keep information
Quote requests are retained for as long as needed to service your request and to meet insurance and tax recordkeeping requirements, then deleted or de-identified.
7. Security
Data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through unencrypted channels.
8. Your choices and rights
