How we choose which carrier to recommend
We rate your profile against each carrier's appetite — driving record, vehicle, prior coverage and state — then rank the results by price at the same coverage level. Comparing identical limits and deductibles is the only way to compare fairly, so that is what we do.
Financial strength matters
A cheap policy from a carrier that cannot pay claims is not a bargain. We place business only with insurers we consider financially strong, and we tell you which carrier you are being quoted with before you buy anything.
Important note about brand names
Progressive, GEICO, National General and Allstate are trademarks of their respective owners. SureLane is not owned by, endorsed by or acting as an underwriter for any of them. We reference their names only to identify carriers we may shop for you. Carrier availability varies by state and by your individual profile.
